On September 22-23, 2018, on the ice arena Liodohrai, the Open Cup of the Kyiv region was on the ice rink, among boys of 2008 year of birth
Five teams competed with each other: Shershni (Bohuslav town), Atek (Kyiv city), Kryzhynka (Kyiv city), Kyiv (Kyiv city), Tornado (Kyiv city). Each team played 4 games.

The winner was the team Kryzhynka (a trainer is Oleksandr Skorohod), scored 12 points. On the second place is the team Shershni (a coach is Alexander Matviychuk), which scored 9 points, the team Kiev (a coach is Artem Verbenko) is the third scored only 5 points.
The team Shershni played with only one defender. One of the best players are Anton Volichenko (who played at number 3), Maxim Shevchenko (number 27), Artem Kalsin (number 34).
