There was a teaching-training meeting of the Ukrainian national youth gathering ice hockey team on the Bohuslav ice
Last season, the Ukrainian national youth gathering ice hockey team won the World Cup in Division 1B, which rose it up in the better class. The competitions took place at the Kyiv Sports Palace. In the final, our team met with a team from Romania. The match ended with a score of 6: 0 in favor of a Ukrainian team.
A head coach of the team Oleh Ihnatiev was appointed in summer, who led the team in the IA division. Anatolii Brezvin, the President of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation said “The logic of such appointment is quite reasonable. Oleh Vasilyevich worked with these players at level U 18 and in the season 2017-2018 he achieved a high result. We hope that with the same generations of players Oleh Ihnatiev will be successful at the youth level teams. “
The Ukrainian Hockey Federation approved an expanded list of candidates for the youth team (U20) including 33 players, who played both in Ukrainian clubs and abroad. The changes and additions can be made to the list during the season.
